"Best work to date!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have read other books by Dr. Grace and while the others were great, this is her best work to date! Written in a sisterly style that has become her trademark, Dr. Grace uses the personal experiences of herself and others (whose identities have been changed to protect them, of course), to help anyone who is looking to have healthy love relationships. The information, as it is presented in this book, will help anyone (male or female, in my opinion) to get out of their own way, make better choices, and get on with the business of healthy loving! The Band-Aid Bond gave me a lot to think about. I STRONGLY URGE you to get this book, and then check out the other books in Dr. Grace's collection. They definitely give you more bang for your reading buck! P.S. I'm looking forward to The Sacred Bond that was mentioned in this book as being the next book to be published as a companion to this Band-Aid Bond book. |

"A must read for "all women. This is by far the best relationship book I have ever read. It is straight-forward, practical and packed with useful information that both single and married women will benefit from. I had the opportunity to see Dr. Grace on FOX-TV News and she was so awesome that I attended one of her book signings in New York. The place was packed and the store sold out of all her books while she was there, so I bought my copy on line. I read the entire book in one day, but I keep reading it over and over again-- especially Chapters 2, 5, 8, and 11. I realize that a couple of Dr. Grace's books have been written specifically for black women, but The Band-Aid Bond is for "all" women, regardless of race. I'm a Jewish woman and have learned much about my relationship choices from this book. Thank you Dr. Grace; keep writing for "all women." I love your book!!!! I recommend that "all" women read it, and buy copies for loved ones, or as gifts for friends or co-workers (I bought three copies of it and also copies Dr. Grace's previous bestseller, You Deserve Healthy Love, Sis! for my cousins). I want to know about all future books written by Dr. Grace!!!!" |

"You deserve to treat yourself to this book [You Deserve Healthy Love, Sis!]. Kudos and 5 stars to Dr. Grace for writing another spectacular book. No matter what stage you're in life, you will be able to relate to at least one of the stories in this book. Buy the book and buy it now, if you're ready to find and meet your soul mate. Dr. Grace gives a great prescription in her seven steps to healthy love. This book is amazingly uplifting, inspirational, and optimistic. Although she includes Christian principals and addresses some of the issues that Black women and men face specifically, don't think for a moment that this book can't be applicable to your life if you don't happen to be a Christian or African-American. Dr. Grace's message is universal, easy to understand, and practical. Having met Dr. Grace in person, she truly practices what she preaches. If you're ready to make some lasting and positive changes in your love life, this book is for you. Go ahead, buy it because YOU deserve healthy love sis! |

"I am reading The Band-Aid Bond book with the women at my church in Long Beach, CA. I love the chapter about being equally-yoked. I have a habit of saying I want a man who is equally-yoked, but settling for good conversation and a pretty face. Chapter 2 helped me by allowing me to realize I need to use my head and not my heart so much in the beginning, and to follow my intuition. I loved Dr. Grace's analogy of "ill-fitting shoes" [similar to ill-fitting, mis-matched relationships; both cause excruciation pain], because I am also guilty of trying to make something fit when it doesn't. I look forward to reading the remaining chapters |

Three of my co-workers and I read the book from cover-to-cover and followed the helpful exercises you outlined in the book. You helped all of us. After we each did "the sanctified prayer," I met my soul mate and we've set our wedding date; Lauren finally gathered the courage to leave her abusive boyfriend of three years, Cheryl's long-term boyfriend of 5 years finally proposed, and Jackie is now open to the possibility that there really is a decent man out there for her-- she is trusting and waiting to see what God will do next.
