It is no secret that many contemporary Christian and non-Christian single women (and men) feel lonely and in need of a healthy relationship.  Some are overwhelmed at being single longer than they anticipated, others have been wounded from past unhealthy relationships, while many are devastated at finding themselves single again after a breakup, divorce, or being widowed.  Many also feel hurt or emotionally-empty due to aligning themselves with negative people and developing relationships with such people.  This suffering can manifest itself in various unhealthy forms, including domestic violence, little or no self-esteem, alcohol and drug abuse, and/or sexually transmitted diseases.

Grace Livingstone (Dr. Grace), speaks and ministers frequently across America and abroad to a wide audience of single women (and men), helping them to overcome life's challenges and to find effective solutions in order to enjoy each season of their lives to the fullest. Standing on the firm conviction that "marriage is a personal choice in loving, not a public requirement for living," Dr. Grace believes that if you don't want to be married, then you don't have to be.  However, if you want to be married, then you are entitled to a sacred, healthy love relationship with your very own soulmate God's way (which she calls "A Genesis 2:24 Sacred Union").

From 2008 through 2009, Dr. Grace donated unlimited time and personal expertise to launch, direct, and oversee the Singles Ministry at Greater Centennial AME Zion Church (Mt. Vernon, NY), where she facilitated monthly group meetings and weekly counseling for a wide range of single women and men.  A church with 5,000 members under the leadership of Rev. Dr. W. Darin Moore, Greater Centennial is the largest A.M.E. Zion church in the United States, and the fastest growing church in lower Westchester County.

Dr. Grace's goal is to encourage and inspire Christian and non-Christian single women (and men) as they walk through many of toady's stressful and confusing personal challenges and circumstances.  Her smart advice, wise counseling, effective relationship articles, books, and CDs will give you the winning formula for healthy living and healthy loving God's way.

Bishop Noel Jones & Dr. Grace both ministered to an audience of over 10,000 single men & women at Bishop Eddie Long's Single but Not Alone 2005 Conference.

"Dr. Grace's healthy relationship book helped me to get married to my own Mr. Right!"

Dr. Grace,
After I read your book The Sacred Bond (7 Spiritual Truths to Recognize and Marry Your Very Own Soul Mate), my husband cam into my life at lightning speed!  We courted for six months and then we got married immediately.  That book allowed me to see into myself.  I felt as if I was blind (The way my mind was, I had a controlling personality and your book helped me to submit to God and become prepared for my husband.  When I "recognized" my husband-to-be, I felt like a boomerang literally knocked me off my feet!  He loved me for who I was-a single mother with two children, from two different fathers, and he loved me anyway.  He was my son's football and he said that first day he saw me, the Holy Spirit told him that I was the one, but I didn't "recognize" him because I didn't allow myself believe or trust anymore until I read your book.

I don't know where I got your book, or who gave it to me, but I followed "The Sanctified Prayer" you have in there and I asked God to send me someone with a willing heart.  We took the pre-marital test in our church and it showed that we were perfect for each other.  I wake up every morning and thank God everyday for making me for Matthew and for making him for me.

Thank you Dr. Grace.  I have now bought copies of your other books: The Band-Aid Bond, You Deserve Healthy Love, Sis, 10 Bad Choices That Ruin Black Women's Lives and 10 Good Choices That Empower Black Women's Lives, and I'm ordering The Sanctified Bond.  I'm so happy and so in love, that you can use my testimony and picture to let others know that your book works!

"Wedding Prophecy Comes Through!"

Hello Dr. Grace,

How are you doing? Blessed I'm sure. I don't know if you remember me from 03/10/2005 and 03/11/2005 at the New Birth Missionary Baptist Church Singles Conference [Lithonia, GA]. Just in case you don't remember my name is Veronica Dantzler. You prophesied to me regarding my singleness.  You said this time next year I am going to be blessed with a husband and to email you and let you know of God's blessing.

I purchase two books from you, The Sacred Bond and The Band-Aid Bond. You signed [on Friday] 3/10/05, "Happy Birthday" in the first book, then on [Saturday] 3/11/05, you signed my name.

Well in 2005 I enrolled in Luther Rice University/Seminary to get my degree in Biblical Counseling. In January 2006, I took an Evangelist class where I met Eric Ware, the man of my dreams, a God fearing man. He sat in the back of the class room staring at me; I looked back and said [to myself], what is he staring at, and turned around and faced the front of the class. Some of the students felt like the classroom we were in weren't large enough, so they suggested that we moved to the classroom next door. The teacher agreed.

Eric sat behind me in class and we began to speak to each other. On March 9, 2006 I asked the class to pray for traveling grace, because I was going home for my birthday to Baton Rouge, LA, to visit my parents. Then Eric and another guy began to laugh. Eric said, "That is my birthday and if she says her birthday is on the same day, I'm going to marry her." Later Eric and I spent time outside in the parking lot at Luther Rice Seminary talking about many things-school, work, family-it seemed like time was of no essence. We've been together every since. Eric and I decided to take Pre-Marital class, and completed the course on October 5th, 2006. Having successfully completed 30 hours at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church, we received our certificate.

On December 13, 2007 Eric ask me to marry him. He proposed to me in a most romantic way. He invited me to dinner at P.F. Chang Restaurant, which was quite unusual because two weeks earlier I had foot surgery and I really didn't expect anything but a wonderful outing for the two of us.   After arriving at the restaurant we were greeted and seated by the manager. He came to check on me several times and I began to wonder if Eric knew him personally. The dinner was great as usual, and during the close of the evening, the manager brought us two fortune cookies, one for me and one for Eric. Eric knew I would open mine immediately. I opened the cookie which revealed a ring! Speechless with joy, the only word I could utter was. "Beautiful." On the other side of the cookie read a note with these words:

"I've waited all my life for someone as special as you to come into my life. From the very beginning I informed you, I knew you were my wife, and many months later my love for you has only grown deeper than I could ever imagine. Today in the presence of God and everyone here, I confess my love for you in this special way, 'Will You Marry Me?'"

At which time I said, "YES!!!!!" And, hurried and put the ring on my finger. At [that] very moment, Eric kneeled in front of everyone and asked me to marry him.

Dr. Grace, I would like to personally thank you for your obedience to God's voice. The words spoken brought life and joy.

Your sister in Christ,

Veronica, aka Mrs. Eric Ware
